A Day at Camp

As teachers, many of our very best memories come from summer music camps. Our goal is to give young string musicians of Raleigh the same opportunity

Morning: skills and solo focused

  • Arrive, unpack, warm up

  • Students split into age and level appropriate skills classes

    • These classes focus on tone development, skills such as vibrato and shifting, intonation practice, etc.

  • Students will spend the second half of their morning in instrument choirs

Afternoon: ensemble focused

  • Lunch Break

*students are responsible for their own lunch

  • Early afternoon ensemble rehearsals

  • Recess

  • Late afternoon ensemble rehearsals

  • Dismissal with optional dismissal mini concerts

Camp Tracks
